As the Manager, Construction Engineering, you will lead teams, including effective development and performance management of direct reports. You will provide leadership, project management, engineering expertise and advice to clients and staff to develop reliable and professional water and wastewater systems. You will work collaboratively with other corporate divisions to support and participate in initiatives targeted at securing new clients.
To qualify, you will be a Professional Engineer with a degree in Civil Engineering or similar discipline, with 8 years of progressively more responsible experience; or,
a Limited Member License or Restricted Engineering License with a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or similar discipline, along with a minimum of 12 years of progressively more responsible experience.
In addition, the job requires experience in the following areas:
• People Management
• Budget management and preparation
• Project Management
• Risk management and risk response planning
• Procurement and contract administration
• Delivery of capital projects
Special Requirements: The position requires the incumbent to undergo a Criminal Record Check and Drug and Alcohol test. You must be legally entitled to work in Canada. A valid Saskatchewan driver’s license is required.
