Area Engineer
$75,454.69 - $100,139.60 annually plus 6.5% recruitment and retention adjustment
The Area Engineer provides professional engineering services and expertise, technical advice and guidance to program management, project managers, consultants and other stakeholders regarding planning, design and implementation of engineering solutions. The Area Engineer will focus on bridge and road engineering services. The successful incumbent has the ability to make judgment-based decisions relying on knowledge gained through considerable engineering experience in the Natural Resource Sector.

Qualifications for this role include:
- Degree in Civil/Forest engineering or equivalent as recognized by the relevant association
- Must be registered, or immediately* eligible for registration as a fully licensed Professional Engineer with Engineers & Geoscientists of BC
*Immediately means you are currently a fully licensed registered Professional Engineer member in good standing in another Canadian jurisdiction and can immediately transfer to EGBC - 5 years of recent (within the last 10 years) related engineering experience in infrastructure planning, design and/or construction projects
- Natural Resource Sector field experience as a Professional Engineer monitoring engineering practices and contract compliance
