Capital Project Manager

We want you to join us as a member of our collaborative and forward-thinking Engineering team! Working in a cross-functional and customer focused environment, you will focus on capital works projects.  With an approach of one step ahead planning; projects will include design and construction for roads, bridges, culverts, storm water facilities, parks and buildings. 

Intrinsically motivated and proactive with exceptional time management skills, you will build relationships and liaise with various stakeholders and commit to timely follow-up with resident/public concerns/inquiries.  As part of your communication responsibilities, you will liaise with other service areas within the Town, consultants and contractors, and provide updates to Council, Customer Service and other internal stakeholders to advise of project startup, project updates, and other milestones.  You will foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders by taking a One Town, One Team approach to facilitate excellence in customer service. 

We are seeking a dynamic driven self-starter who thrives in a culture of innovation, is adaptable to our growing and changing municipality, and wants to make a positive impact on our corporation and the community. Your Civil Engineering Technology diploma, with a CET designation and a minimum of 10 years of experience or a Professional Engineer with 5 years of experience is complimented with knowledge of municipal infrastructure design, environmental assessments, plans review and contract management. Excellent interpersonal, time management, attention to details, communication and problem-solving skills will underpin your success in the role. A valid Class "G" driver's license in good standing and a reliable vehicle to use on corporate business is considered an asset, as is the availability to attend evening/weekend meetings as required.

Salary range of $82,223 - $99,943 per annum.  Closing date is May 4, 2018.
