The college is looking to hire a Project Manager to assist in supporting and advancing a number of capital projects and initiatives.

Be Passionate.

Reporting to the Director, Capital Projects, you will be an experienced and innovative Project Manager who will work alongside a team to lead the development and expansion of college facilities. You will be passionate about all stages of capital construction projects, from the conceptual stage through planning, approval, design, construction, and occupancy. You will define organizational requirements for new and expanded college facilities and will develop and manage resulting capital construction projects.

You will be experienced in reading and interpreting plans, with the ability to relate them to construction progress. You will be known for your ability to bring projects to successful completion by working with stakeholders while conforming to shifting priorities, demands and timelines. You will be able to motivate others. You will have achieved success by employing superior communication and interpersonal skills, while implementing modern project management techniques, effective prioritization, and execution of multiple projects, all with competing and pressing timelines.

Deliver Results.

To deliver results, you will have relevant education and experience in architecture, engineering and project management in facilities by implementing planning and construction management processes and procedures. You will have a thorough knowledge of estimating, budgeting and scheduling practices with excellent knowledge of costing, building codes, construction laws, construction materials and methods, sustainable building practices, including LEED and Green Building policies. You will be an effective communicator with the ability to work with and lead others from project conception through to project completion.
