geotechnical engineer

Subcontractor specializing in groundwater control for construction dewatering and environmental projects seeks geotechnical engineer with minimum five years experience in investigations and design.  Excellent communication skills are required for interaction with clients. A knowledge of hydrogeology is preferred.  The position involves analyzing geotechnical and hydrogeological reports, designing groundwater control systems, preparing estimates and proposals, managing projects and communicating with clients about their needs.

Insitu Contractors has been providing  groundwater control services in Canada with emphasis on southern Ontario since 1994. The firm prresently has two professional engineers, one of whom is retiring and a staff of about 35 personnel.
