The Shaw Group has over 500 employees and operates several divisions and subsidiaries: Clayton Developments Limited, Shaw Living, Prestige Homes Inc., Shaw Brick, Shaw Resources, Shaw Precast Solutions, and Ven-Rez Products Limited. The Shaw Group has many major master plan communities underway or awaiting approval, many multi dwelling residential units to be built over the next decade, 13 manufacturing facilities mostly serving the construction industry, and five retail brick stores.
The Shaw Group is seeking a Vice President, Operations who will engage with the manufacturing teams across all lines of business to help create world class operating processes and enable continued growth and expansion.
The Vice President, Operations will be responsible for assisting management and production teams to ensure best practices are built and maintained in the areas of manufacturing operations and customer experience. You will lead by example by being a hands-on and practical leader who collaborates well, creates a positive work environment for all, makes sound decisions and maintains a high degree of accountability for achieving results. This role will focus on key manufacturing projects at several facilities in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
The ideal candidate is a senior manager of businesses, an expert in manufacturing with a strong safety orientation, has built world class production programs, is an exceptional project manager, and collaborates and engages well with diverse teams.
