Project Manager Execution

Calgary, AB, and Toronto, ON

Imperial is seeking Project Engineers to provide project management leadership to a team of construction supervisors and contractors at fuel distribution and/or pipeline facilities within our Canada Fuels Operations (CFO) Engineering, Maintenance and Projects (EMP) group. As a Project Manager Execution, you will be fully accountable for delivering all aspects of safety, cost, schedule and quality on assigned projects in accordance with the ExxonMobil Capital Project System (EMCAPS), from receipt of design specifications through equipment turnover, commissioning and startup.

The successful applicant will possess a combination of the following:

  • Professional engineering degree

  • Minimum 10 years of related project management experience, preferably on fuel distribution terminal or refinery projects

  • Multi-discipline technical skills to oversee a broad range of construction trade activities

  • Strong safety mind-set that embraces the total Loss Prevention System (LPS) culture

  • Demonstrated leadership skills to manage teams and proactively address issues to timely resolution

  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment

  • Strong project management and project control skills

  • Professional Project Management certification would be an asset

  • Strong communication, coaching and interpersonal skills

  • Strong planning, organizational and business decision-making skills

  • Proven ability to provide direction to and obtain desired results from contractors

  • Strong computer skills, including: Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Proficiency in the French language would be an asset

  • Ability and willingness to travel across Canada, working at CFO facilities during the field execution phase of assigned projects
