PROFILE:

This position is accountable for the successful launch of divisional projects within the specified quality targets, budget targets, and timing targets that will ensure customer satisfaction. Communicate with program manager to effectively complete & leverage projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Outline timing, monitor and report (monthly) all activities (internal and external) on a division project with respect to:
  • - Total project costs/budgets
  • - Adherence to project timing
  • - Open issues (total project - departmental, and supplier) of a divisional project, meeting reports
  • - Suppliers
  • - Coordination of the cross-functional team responsibilities (internally and externally) for divisional project issues.
  • - Customer issues and concerns
  • Utilize Dortec and customer timing plans, time/resource activity plans, project open issues lists and meeting reports to control the activities of all resources assigned to the division project.
  • Provide guidance, where necessary, to management in all project related decisions.
  • Monitor and oversee all cross-functional team activities, tasks, and support as required.
  • Input into performance appraisals of assigned cross-functional team members.
  • Submission and tracking of cost models to division for cost reduction, engineering, and product performance activity.
  • Interface with Program Managers as necessary on all project related initiatives.
  • Maintain a confidential and professional demeanour at all times.
  • Work in a safe manner at all times.
  • Abide by Company rules and policies as set out in the employee handbook.
  • Reference QS/TS/ISO
    • Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Completion of specialized trade courses and/or apprenticeship/certification.
  • 5 to less than 7 years of work related experience.
