The desired areas of research expertise are in digital hardware, analog and mixed signal circuit design, and powers systems, although applicants with research expertise in other areas of electrical engineering will be considered. The successful candidate must have demonstrated research excellence, exceptional communication skills, and effective teaching. Experience with undergraduate and graduate student supervision is desirable. The successful candidate would be expected to participate in departmental service and activities, with a broad network of engineers in academic and industry settings.
