Vice President, Access Engineering - Wireless

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President, Engineering, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight of all Wireless Access infrastructure.  Responsible for all planning, implementation and operations, the Vice President, Access Engineering will oversee radio network design and engineering for new wireless sites and technology overlays; spectrum acquisition and deployment to satisfy conditions of license; construction and ongoing operations for all towers; colocation and rooftop sites; performance management systems and reporting to ensure a high performing and reliable network to deliver the optimal customer experience.  Working closely with the executive team to develop effective business strategy and planning, the Vice President is accountable for ensuring the cost effective investment and deployment of technology and resources that provide long term, strategic benefits and support continued expansion.

As the ideal candidate, you are a seasoned professional engineer with senior telecommunications and wireless industry leadership experience from within complex customer-centric environments. A strategic and natural problem solver, you motivate and manage a high performance team to execute on business objectives and develop innovative and cost effective solutions. With an in depth knowledge of wireless mobile networks, access engineering, network planning and performance, operations and industry initiatives, you will lead planning for future technology deployment and evolution with a focus on continuous improvement and enhanced service delivery. Engaging, hands-on and mature, you possess a collaborative and entrepreneurial leadership approach and develop strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You have a proven ability to drive results while identifying long-term strategic business solutions.
